The TOMO Series clutch bag combines a clean, sophisticated design—achieved by reducing the number of cuts to an absolute minimum—with traditional Japanese wa-toji book binding, once widely used in Japan. This piece beautifully blends past and present. Its minimalist aesthetic makes it suitable for a wide range of occasions, from casual outings to formal events and parties. The embroidery threads on both sides, each carefully hand-stitched, convey a sense of warmth while also serving as a subtle accent that evokes a Japanese aesthetic when viewed from the reverse side (the threads are waxed).

Against an off-white background woven with shimmering silver threads, May flowers such as carnations, irises, azaleas, rhododendrons, lilies, and wisteria are depicted.

A boldly rendered circular pattern symbolizes harmony, balance, and meaningful connections.

The lily symbolizes purity, innocence, and dignity.
Because the shape of the iris flower resembles a swallow in flight, it is believed, just like the bird itself, to bring safety and happiness to the home.

Depending on the fabric, there may be slight looseness in the threads or minor stains. To preserve the fabric’s texture and color for as long as possible, avoid direct sunlight. The fabric is not water-resistant, so please be careful when using it on rainy days.
